Childhood and adolescence can be a time of deep change
You may notice your child is feeling more withdrawn, anxious, or overwhelmed — or struggling to express what’s really going on inside.
Therapy offers a consistent, supportive space for them to explore emotions safely and build healthy ways to cope.
My approach with young people
“As we become aware of ourselves as storytellers we realise we can use our stories to heal.”
(S. Wittig Albert)
I’m an integrative psychotherapist, which means I use different ways of working depending on what feels right for your child. Sometimes we talk, sometimes we use art or creative tools to help express what’s hard to put into words.
My work is anti-oppressiveandculturally attuned — I understand that young people can feel out of place or unseen for many reasons, including their background, identity and experiences. I hold space for their feelings and their story with care and respect, so they can begin to feel safe, understood, and more like themselves.
Every story matters — and I want to help your child to feel that their story does, too.
Online therapy for young people
Sessions take place online, so your child can join from a space that feels comfortable for them. We work at their pace — there’s no right or wrong way to start.
Together, we’ll build trust and find ways to make sense of their feelings, grow their confidence, and discover their own strengths.
In addition to therapy for adolescents and young people, I offer consultations for caregivers.
These are dedicated sessions where we focus on yourneeds, reflections, and challenges as a parent or caregiver.
“If a community values its children, it must cherish their parents.”
(J. Bowlby)
Shared journey
When we work together, we become a team — always centering your child’s voice while supporting the relationships that matter most.
My hope is to create a compassionatespace where both children and caregivers can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow together.
Together, we can:
Explore what your child may be communicating through their behaviour.
Find ways to respond that feel calm, attuned, and effective.
Think about your own experiences and emotions in relation to your child’s.
Buildunderstanding and confidence in supporting your child’s emotional world.
Consultations can be one-off or frequent, depending on what’s most helpful for you.
Book a consultation
If you’d like to talk through your concerns, explore next steps, or simply see if my work could be the right fit for your child and you, you’re welcome to book an online consultation.
This is a chance to share what’s been happening at home, ask questions, and get a sense of how I work. There’s no pressure or commitment — just an open, thoughtful conversation about what your family might need right now.
“Love is a form of communication that our brains are hardwired to respond to.”
(S. Gerhardt)
My work is attachment-informed, meaning I pay close attention to the ways children seek safety, comfort, and connection through their relationships.
When children feel understood and supported, they’re better able to explore, grow, and thrive.
Because no child exists in isolation, I’m open to include family observations to gently explore the patterns and dynamics between family members.
These observations aren’t about judgment — they help us understand the dynamic in the family, so we can strengthen communication, trust, and connection.
